The Gandhi genealogy site lists her birth year as 1940, while her ANC biography lists her birth year as 1950. --Blainster 22:17, 21 September 2006 (UTC)

[1] Note the mention of her being 12 years old in 1952, and the start of her social work career in 1965 (much more likely at age 25 than 15 since she attended university and recieved two bachelor's degrees.) So it seems the ANC biography, which is obviously sketchy anyway, was in error. I've reverted my edits to reflect July 1, 1940 as DOB. Glenn4pr 04:15, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Spelling of the last name

Both spellings seem to be used (Ghandi and Gandhi). Her ANC biography uses Ghandi as do several journalistic sources. However this differs from the common spelling for her grandfather's last name. Glenn4pr 03:55, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Created a redirect from the less common spelling Ghandi to the common Gandhi spelling. Glenn4pr 04:15, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
