Elastico

The Elástico, Spanna (In The Caribbean), Cucharita/Cuchara (Most of South America), Vírgula (Comma in Portuguese), "Snake-fake". Flip Flap or Akka (after a much watched advert when he performed it), is a football skill popularized and perhaps invented in the 1970s by legendary Brazil midfielder Rivelino. It was later established as a trademark move of Peruvian striker Julio César Uribe and Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho.
The skill consists of flicking the ball up with the outside of the foot, then quickly cushioning it with the instep of the same foot, wrong-footing the defender who reacts to the initial contact.
In recent times, the skill has been performed by the following players:
Aruna Dindane of RC Lens and Côte d'Ivoire
Royston Drenthe of Real Madrid and Netherlands U-21
Achille Emana of Toulouse and Cameroon
Sebastian Giovinco of Empoli F.C. and Italy U-21[1]
Zlatan Ibrahimović of Internazionale and Sweden
Ricardo Quaresma of Porto and Portugal
Robinho of Real Madrid and Brazil
Ronaldinho of Barcelona and Brazil
Ronaldo of A.C. Milan and Brazil
Cristiano Ronaldo of Man Utd and Portugal
Marcus Darnemo of IFK Mariehamn
Fernando Torres of Liverpool and Spain[2]
Robin Van Persie of Arsenal and Nertherlands
Joaquin Sanchez of Valencia FC and Spain
Franck Ribéry of Bayern Munich and France
Aiden McGeady of Celtic and Ireland
