ELA-3, short for Ensemble de Lancement Ariane 3 (French for Ariane Launch Area 3), is a launch pad at the Centre Spatial Guyanais in French Guyana. It is the launch pad used for the Ariane 5. 37 launches have been made from it, the first of which occurred on 4 June 1996.
ELA-3 is 21 square kilometres in size.[1]
