From what I can tell, El Reno means The Reindeer in Spanish. Is this the origin of the name, or was it from some other language? ...Scott5114 03:20, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

The town is named after Fort Reno, which is named after General Jesse L. Reno. I beleive, at some point part of the town was named Reno City. I'm not sure where the "El" came from. Searsse 18:12, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

El Reno's name comes from the middle initial and last name of Jesse "L. Reno", or so the city says. BunnyHaHa 23:54, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
