El Imparcial, founded in 1918, was a Puerto Rican newspaper.
In the 1970s Miguel A. García Méndez bought the newspaper. The building where the newspaper was run was destroyed in a fire created by unknown causes. It kept running for a short time after that until the government expropriated the building where it was located.
