[edit] Fictional character history

Armando is the son of Ignacio "Boss" Ochoa, a successful South Texas businessman, drug-lord and member of the criminal organization known as the Annulus. Boss Ochoa spared no expense on his son's education by sending him to the finest schools in the world. Armando attended a University in Bogotá where he developed a romantic relationship with fellow student Narcilina Montoya, with whom he later studied with in Harvard Law. Shortly after graduating, Armando traveled to the orient, where he studied in the most prestigious dojos and learned various martial art techniques. Desiring to replace his father as the prominent druglord in South Texas, Armando adopts the pseudonym of El Graduado, and makes a large drug-trafficking deal in the hope of earning a seat with the Annulus. After being foiled at every turn by El Gato Negro, he resolved to kill the vigilante or risk embarrassment. In a final confrontation with El Gato, the villain had the upper-hand until the arrival of the Texas Rangers. El Graduado attempted to flee the scene, only to inadvertently run in to Sheriff Bustamonte. Recognizing the last name to be that of a border patrolman brutally murdered by his henchmen months earlier, Ochoa decided to kill the Sheriff as well. El Gato Negro managed to intervene just in time and a final struggle ensued between the two. El Graduado was arrested, leaving his father to answer to the wrath of the Annulus.
