Eksplosion is a coverband from Belgium.
They made their first notion as being the first act of the Belgian Begijnhoffeesten with national top artists as Natalia Druyts and Clouseau. Both in 2006 and 2007 they played huge shows in CC Belgica.
The music is based on percussion and drums. Pieter Ramboer created the band in 2004. First, Pieter Van Lijsebetten was asked to play the piano and keyboards. The brothers Bart Gijsen and Joris Gijsen joined the band to play bass guitar and guitar. Recently, Joris was being replaced by Jasper De Mulder.
Drums and percussion still remain the basic part of their music. This is the work of Pieter Ramboer, Mario Nobels and Joachim Van Hove.
The arrangements of the songs are created by Pieter Ramboer and Pieter Van Lijsebetten.
