ʻEkolu Mea Nui, a song which means The Three Greatest Things, was written by Robert J.K. Nāwāhine around 1925. This song was based on I Cor 13:13, "And now abideth faith, hope and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." Nāwāhine composed the song for the Congregational church in Maui.[1]
