Autovia C-25, commonly known under the name Eix Transversal, provides an important east-west route across Catalonia. It runs from the AP-7 at Girona Airport to the A-2 at Cervera via Manresa and Vic. It offers spectacular views of Montseny and Montserrat mountains. It was inaugurated in December 1997.
