Einar Hoidale

Einar Hoidale (August 17, 1870 – December 5, 1952) was a Norwegian-American politician. Born in Tromsø, Norway, he emigrated to the United States at the age of seven. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1898.[1] As a lawyer and a businessman he became a prominent member of the community in Minnesota. He was elected at-large to the United States House of Representatives and served in the 73rd congress from 1933 to 1935 as a Democrat. He lost a subsequent election after being nominated for the U.S. Senate.
