Eileen Rose

Eileen Rose is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She recorded 2 albums, [[Shine Like It Does]] and [[Long Shot Novena]], for seminal UK label, Rough Trade Records (in the US, Sanctuary Records and Compass Records). Her third album, 'Come the Storm', was released in July 2007 on Banana Recordings (Sony) in the UK to much critical acclaim. In the US, Come the Storm was released on folk legend Judy Collin's label, Wildflower Records in July 2007. She tours frequently both in the US and Europe (where she lived from 1991- 2003). Eileen's song "Shining" was a featured song in the Disney movie "The Rookie" and is also on the soundtrack album, along with Steve Earle and Ryan Adams. Her song "Lie To Me" was featured in an episode of the TV series "Felicity".

Rose released her fourth album "AT OUR TABLES" through EVANGELINE RECORDS on Monday, March 10, 2008. Opening a new chapter in her diverse career, she took her music to Detroit, tracking down the city's deep-rooted musical Soul. Aided by seasoned producers Al Sutton (Sheryl Crow, Kid Rock, Hank Williams Jr., The Detroit Cobras), and Eric Hoegemeyer (Charm Farm, Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker), plus members of Sponge, Detroit Cobras, and her own Holy Wreck crew.

The album was followed by a European tour. "At Our Tables" produced a few reviews, including one by Mark Beech for U.S.-based Bloomberg News, in which he called Rose "the best singer-songwriter you've never heard." [1]
