Egnatia, Ioannina

Egnatia (Greek: Εγνατία), also with an i accented is a municipality in the Ioannina Prefecture, Greece. Its 2001 population was 2,800. The seat of the municipality is in Mikro Peristeri. The municipality is connected with both the GR-9/E852 (Larissa - Ioannina - Thesprotia) and the new Via Egnatia since the early-2000s with several tunnels and other roads.

Egnatia has schools, a few lyceums (middle school) a gymnasium (secondary school), churches, banks, shops and a square (plateia). Its nearest university is in Ioannina, the University of Ioannina.
