Efland is a Census-designated place in Orange County, North Carolina, USA.

As of the census[1] of 2005, there were 3,206 people and 1,344 households. The population density was 92.1/sq mi. The racial makeup of the town was 81.2% White, 12.9% African American, 0.3% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 0.2% from other races, and 1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.2% of the population.
The median income for a household in the town was $40,625. About 0.5% of the population were below the poverty line.
