Edyta was an Italian disco singer and model during the 1980s and early 1990s. She worked with the Italo Disco producers Severo Lombardoni, Lino Nicolosi and Pino Nicolosi. Her biggest hit was the Hi-NRG single "Be Slave of my Heart" written by Dino Melotti & Rino Facchinetti, released 1989 in Europe and 1990 in Japan. In the Summer of 1989 the song reached the Top 20 of the Italian Dance Charts and appeared on numerous dance compilations across Europe.
