Summary of Skills and Experience

I aim to work for internet-based firms in web developer capacity and obtain a creative and challenging role that enables me to gain valuable commercial experience and improve my web development and design skills. The ideal position would provide exposure to various design projects in different market segments, (i.e. corporate, ecommerce, etc).

I trade creative mind and valuable technical skill set for a role with advancement possibilities and career guidance.

As a Technical Support Expert in Dell, my role includes enhancing client relationships. I handle UK based relationship clients for sales and promotions of Dell’s hardware range. For this, I am required to compile data for up-selling hardware and software solutions, research on customizing hardware-based solutions for customers, working with the Process Improvement Team to increase efficiency within the organization and satisfaction among the customers. Moreover, I track my team’s progress and performance along with coaching/providing trainings on technical issues. As a Technical Support Expert, a very important aspect of my work is to be in complete sync with the Training Department.

Before Dell, I worked with IBM Technologies BPO Services as a Subject Matter Expert. I created training material for Intuit Quicken process and also made instructor-led trainings for new hires. Major part of my work was to manage and assist team members for technical issues as a floor-walker. I received various awards and appreciation letters from the client and the customers for exceptional performance. It was with IBM where I learnt how to communicate effectively and what are the key relationship building skills.

It was during my tenure with IBM, that I was engaged process excellence tools, in-house training documents and interactive websites for new hires and process as Lead Instructional Designer for the Intuit process.

Work Experience

e-Learning related - Maintain administrative control over all websites in our area of responsibility including user permissions, content management, and layout and design of sites. Responsible for system administration of Windows and Linux based servers to include system configuration and user administration for training department.

Create web design layouts using Photoshop, FrontPage, and other web development tools like designed layouts for web interfaces using a combination of web technologies including: ASP, CSS, FLASH, HTML, JavaScript, JSP, MYSQL, PHP, SQL Server 2000, and XML.
Develop, maintain, and provide support for exercise sites for Training and Development. Work with internal clients to analyze and develop applications based on client's needs Developed dynamic, Oracle-driven web applications
