I've removed the links to the Google Book Project's version of Channing's History of the United States volumes 5 and 6 because the links go to 3-line excerpts from pages 4, 35, and 167 in volume 5 and similarly short excerpts in volume 6. The links to volumes 1-4 go to the entire book and are invaluable.
