This is an intial entry. It is an interpretation of the data from Upham and a reexamination of Savage who was perhaps confused. Both Savage and Upham are available in full text form on the web and can be found via Google. If this version is accepted the interpretation can be built upon. I have added this article because I could not get the sources I had available to fully agreeably fit with the article about Edward Bishop the husband of Bridget Bishop. There is only room for one Edward Bishop on the Salem Witchcraft trials template, and perhaps this is the right one to be in there. However before I can see doing this I would like to get some comments. Partly this is because if this is the best version then there may need to be some changes done to the Edward Bishop husband of Bridget Bishop article. One idea may be to combine the Bridget Bishop article with the 2 articles about her 2d and 3d husbands. John5Russell3Finley 01:13, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
