Edwin Augustus Keebel

Edwin Augustus Keebel (February 14, 1807 - August 26, 1868) was a prominent Tennessee politician. He was born in Cumberland County, Virginia and later moved to Tennessee, serving as mayor of Murfreesboro from 1838 to 1855. He served in the Tennessee state legislature in 1861. He represented the state in the Second Confederate Congress from 1864 to 1865. He was the son-in-law of John Bell.
