Edward B. 'E.B.' McClain is a Democratic member of the Alabama Senate, representing the 19th District since 1995. Previously he was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives from 1987 through 1994.

McClain surrendered to authorities as a result of an indictment 29 May 2008 handed out by the U.S. District court, Northern District, of Alabama. The 50-count indictment charges him with taking grant money intended for a non-profit organization1.
