Edward Beers Thomas

Edward Beers Thomas (b. August 4, 1848, Cortland, NY, d. March 27, 1929, Brooklyn, NY) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Judge Thomas received an A.B. from Yale University in 1870. He was nominated to the court by William McKinley on February 7, 1898, to a seat vacated by Asa W. Tenney, confirmed by the Senate on February 15, 1898, and received his commission on February 15, 1898. His service terminated on December 31, 1906, due to resignation.
