Talk:Education in Hungary
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- The érettségi system has changed in this year but I don't have any info on it except that everyone was annoyed about it. If someone has info on the changes themselves, please add.
- I don't really know the difference between szakközépiskola and szakmunkásképző and the terms themselves are somewhat hard to translate into English.
- I'll try to collect info on the history of education (e. g. when was it decided that primary school will be 8 years and secondary will be 4 instead of vice versa; etc.)

[edit] Template:Education infobox
I created a template, Template:Education infobox which can give a quick at a glance demographics table for education articles. See its implementation at Education in the United States and feel free to help improve the template.--naryathegreat | (talk) 01:00, August 7, 2005 (UTC)
Thanks. I'm trying to get the info needed in the template. Alensha 21:14, 23 August 2005 (UTC)

"The general phase of education lasts until the age of 16 in Hungary's education system" I definitely disagree with that. It is true, that the one has to be in education until they are 16, but if somebody is 17 and not in education, it means he/she has not finished something. (or only the primary school.) you can do the "érettségi" if you are 18, not at sixteen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Animacs (talk • contribs) 11:41, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
