Edna McCoy is a fictional character in the Marvel Universe and the mother of X-Men member, Beast.

At one point, Edna and her husband are endangered by the Dark Beast, an alternate reality version of their son. Having questioned (and killed) many other people from Hank's childhood, so as to impersonate him better, Dark Beast had saved his 'parents' for last. However, he finds he is unable to harm them and instead, decapitates a random pedestrian as he drives away.
