PrestonH (talk ยท contribs) Hello, I am PrestonH. I have made around 6700+ edits in Wikipedia and I have been here for 10 months. I requested to be reviewed because I believe there are likely controversial edits in my contributions. Thank you in advance for the reviews! I don't with to be an admin. Reviews
- Might want to calm down on the excess vandal reverting and welcoming. Get involved with Deletion debates and Wikiprojects in order to enhance your wikipedia experience. Miranda 00:09, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for that review Miranda! Here is my new plan on what I'm going to do on Wikipedia each day (edits)...
- 10 vandalism reverting/warnings
- 30 typo fixings
- 5 welcoming newcomers
- 5 RfA votes/deletion debates
- Thank you for that review Miranda! Here is my new plan on what I'm going to do on Wikipedia each day (edits)...
- That somehow really good. Like Miranda said, you should get involved with wikiprojects. You can also participate in article discussion page to take it to the better status.--NAHID 07:11, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think valuable services such as reverting vandalism and welcoming newcomers should be put aside to be replaced by what someone else considers 'worthy' edits. We need all the help we can get with such tasks, so I say, keep on going strong - your edits are very much appreciated! --Benchat 05:49, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- My extensive vandal reverting, fixing grammar, and helping newcomers.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- Well...I don't have serious conflicts of Wikipedia as of yet, but if I do, I'll say to this myself, "Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not to place to hold egos and Wikipedia is not a place to push your views. You have to follow concensus most of the time. If your views/facts are really important, take it up to the talk page.
- How do you feel when a newcomer asks for your help?
- I feel I have more experience in Wikipedia each time a newcomer offers me help. Newcomers often ask experienced contributors/administrators for help for obvious reason. Newcomers have a lot of potential with their knowledge, thoughts/opinions etc. I feel that every newcomer (excluding sockpuppets) should be treated with respect/being welcomed to Wikipedia because what we treat them as a new Wikipedian will partly affect their outcome as a Wikipedian later (long term vandal to respected experienced bereaucrat).
