I am a fairly new editor of Wikipedia. I joined in June 2006. I'm 34 years old from UK and need to know what I am editing or creating is OK. My edit count is very low about 500 and my main article edits are 200. I do revert and I do mark spd articles. I just want to get an idea that (a)I have been a good wikipedian (Not flawless) (b) that my contributions have been worthwhile. Mike33 22:14, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Reviews

  • Thanks for your comments Mike, although my sleep was short, my day was good! You are a very good Wikipedian: you use edit summaries, you participate in AfD and you make good edits. For the time you have been here, your edit count is a little low compared to other editors of your standard; however, do not worry, edit counts should not make much deal over anything. Remember, a 10,000 word article can be made in one edit, and adding one word can be made in one edit. Conclusion, your edits are definitely worthwhile, and you are on your way to becoming a fantastic editor. Cheers, wpktsfs 02:35, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I have never had an article which I started deleted. I am pleased with most things I write, if not review and rewrite.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Common courtesy and WP:EQ are fine notions that I live by. My only real conflicts were over a series of pictures that were deleted because they were deemed to candid-camera to illustrate an article. My blood did boil and I wrote some reckless replys. I am still a new editor 200 main site edits and have only been contributing since 06/06. I haven't had any conflicts and would prefer to use talk pages to decide a way forward.
