Kerotan (talk ยท contribs) Hi, I have been on wikipedia for a while now, almost 2 years now and I focus in no particular area, so I guess its not unfair to call my editing habits gnomish and I think its high time I open myself up to public praise/criticism, I am also interested in becoming an admin sooner or later, but before I post a request at admining couching, I would like to receive some advice. - Vandal fighting, help desk monitoring and user adoption is good so keep it up. You already contribute to admin related pages such as AIV and UAA so I think you don't need any advice in lurking in such pages. Your mainspace edits is roughly half of your total edits so I guess it's okay. However, you should moderate your userspace edits for now. People might point this out on your Rfa. Besides your userpage looks good anyways. Your Wikipedia talk is low so and people might think that you do not do group collaborations. I suggest that you join a Wikiproject of your choosing so that you could increase your collaboration experience. You might consider producing GA articles and DYKs. They're not requirements in RfA but they look good on your WikiResume.--Lenticel (talk) 00:55, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- While I have participated in a large amount of vandal whack, the contributions I am most pleased with, in no particular order are; the adoption of Mm40, I did this on a whim, and it has really worked out for the best, he is developing in to quite the wikipedian, my work on the help desk, I enjoy helping the people who require aid on wikipedia and through the help desk, I would like to believe somewhat naively perhaps, that by helping on the helpdesk I am promoting understanding and general wikilove. My final contribution that I am proud of is most likely my creation of my first article, Cuspate foreland, which I put quite some effort into a while ago, I even made a diagram for it, its not a great article admittedly, and I have been meaning to get back to it and improve almost everything about it when time and resources are less of constraint, but like a potter making a pot from clay, there is an immense satisfaction of creating something from nothing, but don't mistake this for article ownership, I also get enjoyment that Cuspate foreland can be viewed and changed by all.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- I would like to believe that I have a cool head online, and the fact that I haven't been in many things that I would class as conflicts maybe be proof to this point, you can interpret that as my lack of experience or a cool head, but either way, I have been in a few conflicts in my time on wikipedia, the last one I believe was a dispute over content with this user and this user, which wasn't extremely stressful, and there have been times when other users seem just to be bloody minded, but I believe that as healthy dose of WP:AGF works wonders. The biggest source of stress in my life currently is off-wiki in the form of school work, and if I ever do get stressed, I find that listening to music while I edit and having something to east always helps my mood. I don't really believe in wiki breaks, instead I just limit the amount of editing do if wikipedia is stressful and getting in way of my other priorities.
