Crashintome4196 (talk · contribs) I would like to be reviewed because I have been an editor for almost a year, and I would like to get an idea of how my 1200+ edits have contributed to the Wikipedia community. I am also interested in nominating myself for adminship, and would like to be reviewed first. Crashintome4196 22:00, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Reviews
- You are a very good Wikipedian. I love your thinking towards stubs, and your editing style. However, a major thing that you absolutely should use is the "edit summary." It is very crucial towards your future Wikipedian experience. This is your biggest problem that I will bring up. I also suggest you visit Wikipedia pages more often (some good ones are WP:FA, WP:GA, Xfd's, and for all aspiring admins, WP:RFA). Your talk edits, both user and article, are rather sparce. The discussion page is a very vital part of an article in a project of this scale, so I suggest that you rack up some talk edits. Other than this, you're very capable. As any die-hard Star Trek fan would say, "Live long and prosper!" bibliomaniac15 05:43, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think you're doing a fine job. But I don't want you to get disappointed, so I'll be honest: your RFA is unlikely to pass if you have less than 2,000 edits, and many !voters prefer more than that. You can see the Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship and Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Statistics to see what I mean. I'd suggest holding off for a while. Anyways, I like the work you're doing (and I like your userpage philosophy!). Keep it up. delldot | talk 06:30, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- I am very happy with several of the articles I have created, most notably 41 (song) and Dave Matthews Band tours because I have put a lot of time into those articles and feel that they are very good example of decent music-related articles on Wikipedia.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- One conflict that has bothered me in the past was when an editor would create an article for a song and it would only be one or two lines long, with a stub template at the bottom. I felt that those pages were not worthy to be called articles; however, rather than putting them up for deletion, I added to them and removed the stub templates to make them very worthy articles. Another issue I've noticed is the lack of {{for}}/{{otheruses}} templates on pages, where users add a colon (:) and italicize the line to differentiate pages. Whenever I see a page lacking a {{for}}or {{otheruses}} template, I immediately find the correct one and add it to the article, and I will continue to do in the future.
- Why no userpage? †he Bread 08:31, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- Honestly, I've never had the desire to create a userpage for myself. I feel it's more important to edit and create article pages, than to create a page about myself, so I've really never gotten around to it.
