[edit] Bluestar301

Bluestar301 (talk · contribs) Hi, my name is Bluestar301 and I am from eastern Pennsylvania. I am almost 19 years old. My main interests include music and geography (most of my edits are in subject matter relating to geography & roads). I would like to be edited so that I can edit better. For instance, I recently added a lot of information on the "US 209" page, and it was deleted. I had added all of the junctions with numbered highways to the page. The only problem was that the article was a 'stub' so it had no area for a full junction list. I'm not too good at writing HTML, so I added all of the information to the 'major junctions' area, but I guess it wasn't the appropriate place. I just want to get some help/tips on better editing. Thanks, Bluestar301. Bluestar301 21:58, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Reviews

  • A userpage would be a good idea. Beyond that, many of your PASH edits were reverted because you did not follow WP:PASH standards. Please review them and utilize them when you edit. --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 22:35, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

Comments

  • Just a minor comment, you are supposed to replace the text saying Username with your username, I changed for you anyway in the meantime. See my diff for what I mean. Matt - TheFearow 22:12, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am pleased with most of my edits (even if they are deleted). I am particularly pleased with the Lehigh Valley, PA area roads pages that I have edited. I like allowing people to learn about my region in which I live.

  3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Yes, there have been a lot of conflicts over my editing. The user Vishwin60 keeps deleting much of my work which adds up to wasted hours on the computer. None of my 'errors' seem to be encyclopedic, so I don't see the major problem with my edits. I don't know how to deal with it to tell the truth. I've tried re-writing the additions (most are to stubs, so I figured every little bit helps), but he just deletes them again without proper reason. I wish that I could be notified before my edits were erased so that I could maybe take-up the arguement with an administrator or someone that could help us come to a truce. I don't delete other user's edits (unless they're vandalism), so I don't think mine should be! As a sidenote, I really would like to learn to clean-up my editing skills, because I am not too good at writing in the HTML language (creating junction/exit charts seems impossible, but that would be an appropriate outlet for my edits since I mostly edit stubs.)
