AndonicO (talk · contribs) Hello reviewers! I wanted to get a review because it seemed this program might be closing soon. The summary of my last review: edit more in mainspace, less in userspace. I'm doing much better; my mainspace edits have increased by 700, and userspace about 400 (it took me way too many edits to have a "portal-style" userpage; ~200). I did some vandal fighting, but have now instead added important articles to my watchlist, and revert vandalism from there rather than look for it (e.g. Ghengis Khan, United Kingdom). I'd appreciate any questions, comments, tips, and suggestions! Thanks! | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 13:07, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Reviews

  • Hey, Andonic, nice to see you 'round. This program closing soon? I don't believe so, but there is an ongoing discussion on the talk page, so feel free to lend us your thoughts! :) I looked at your review from 11/06, I while I kinda disagree with some of the reviewers that you need more FAC experience as if your sole goal was adminship, I can certainly say you've become a more rounded user. Of course your help in getting the strat. games wikiproj up and running has certainly been paying off; while some would still say your mainspace edits are low compared to the bulk of your work, you've been continually improving, and that's the important part. Congrats on getting a FP; (now that I have a digital camera maybe I'll go hunting for one meself! ;) All I can really say is to continue your hard work, especially in mainspace. I also have seen you around on the Help Desk, and I thank you for that as well. Hope you'll stick around and keep up the good work, Dåvid ƒuchs (talk • contribs) 23:13, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Comments

  • Hi AndonicO, sorry for the late review! I have been busy, and the royal reviewtm is a little out of the question. First off, you have done some great work for the WP:S GAMES I am sure they enjoy you hard work on that, and good luck on getting that Risk article featured. But remember a Featured article is not a requirement for being an administrator, so don't worry to much about that. But with that being said, getting it up to featured status would be great for your resume. Keep up the copyediting work as this is really important to wikipeda. Sadly I do see something of concern, you currently have more Userpage edits than article edits, this is not a very good edit ratio. So I would consider keeping your pages how they are now, also I notice you have pages that require updating, I would consider not doing so as it is not really necessary. I also see a good amount of Wikipedia edits...which are good but a large portion of them are "Motto of the day", "Wikiholic Test" and various "Sandboxes". So since you have a love for article writing I would recomend you take part in the WP:FAC process, which is always looking for more people, and keep up your great work on the Ref desks, I wish I could help out more but I am to busy...and a lot of the questions I have no clue! Your input over there is highly appreciated. So in a nutshell, work on your mainspace and some more wikispace, and I think you are on your way! Cheers! Arjun 16:44, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Well, I did a minor job on Tres leches cake, and I copyedited Risk (game) a couple of times to help get it to GA, because I'm helping Wikipedia:WikiProject Strategy Games get it up to FA. I've also uploaded a few photos, most of them terrible, but one FP. I do copyediting every here and there too. | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 13:07, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
No, I have not been in edit conflicts, although I am in the MedCab, so I think there might be a few in store for me. How I'll react, I don't know; I doubt I'll lose my patience though, since I'm normally calm in real life (I stress the normally). :-) | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 13:07, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
