- Hello there, 53180. I saw you were in the backlog here, so I thought that I would give you a review. The first thing that I looked at was the edit count tool. Reviewing that, I note that you do not consistently use the edit summary when editing. It is much more beneficial if you do. Did you know that you can set your preferences to prompt you when you save an edit? I highly recommend that you set it up that way so that you're providing edit summaries. In any event, I did look over your contributions. I see that you had some difficulty over your repeated requests to become an administrator. Probably not the best foot to get off on, considering. I understand that you felt that you weren't being given due consideration, but the way to resolve that is not to continue to submit requests. But I'm sure you've heard enough of that by now and I hope that the experience doesn't sour you to editing here, because many of the article space edits I reviewed were genuinely productive and admirable. If you are still interested in becoming an administrator, I encourage you to keep those edits up. You seem to have an interest in Disney-related topics. Have you considered joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Disney? That might be a good place for you start building some experience. There are, I am sure, associated Projects that crossover and maybe you'll find something more specialized there. Beyond that, as to your interest in being an administrator, I do not think you need to be an administrator to do what you're doing, which appears to be cleaning up articles. Regardless, if you maintain an interest in it, it's very important that you become accustomed with Wikipedia policy, which is sometimes a daunting thing to understand. My strong recommendation would be that you participate in Requests for adminship or at least review some current candidates to get an idea of what sort of things the community looks at when deciding to "give an editor the mop". I'd also recommend that you visit Wikipedia adoption or Admin coaching and consider listing yourself in either place before your next bid. Cheers, Into The Fray T/C 15:39, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
