Hi I took out Lan Yu, Hui Liangyu, Ma Bufang since they are not "major figures" when concerning the religion of Islam in China compared to Yusuf Ma Dexin and Liu Zhi who were major Islamic scholars. Abstrakt (talk)
Hi I just checked out a Chinese source on Chang Yuchun, he was not a "Hui" person as in a Hui Muslim but an "Anhui" person as he was an ethnic Han from Anhui province, please check your Chinese next time.
I took those figures since the template lists "major figures" in the history of Islam in China, and you have not provided any reason why they are important figures in the history of Islam in China besides "I think they are important". For example, Hui Liangyu a Communist official who is supposed to be officially atheist, Ma Bufang a Kuomintang warlord whose career ended in a scandal trying to force his niece to be one of his concubines, and Lan Yu a Ming dynasty general who happened to be Muslim. These individuals, other than the fact they were of Hui background do not really stand out as being notable figures in the history of Islam in China compared to figures like Liu Zhi, an Islamic scholar who wrote on Islam and Confucian philosophy.
