[edit] Boundaries

I imagine that when it became a two-member seat, in 1832, the constituency might have been enlarged somewhat, to extend beyond the boundaries of the burgh for other purposes. I believe this was generally the case with parliamentary burghs in 1832. Generally, they ceased to have the boundaries of burghs for other purposes. Laurel Bush 12:53, 3 October 2006 (UTC).
