Talk:EDINA
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I don't really understand what EDINA is, and I'm no wiser after reading this article. It looks like it may well be a copyvio, although a quick google didn't find anything. It certainly isn't in the wikipedia style, and most of the information on here seems only tenuously linked to the subject. Maccoinnich 23:51, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I authored the original article, in all ignorance of Wikipedia style. I have edited it, hoping to make it clearer, and providing a link through to the website.
I am cautious about the line between saying what we are and trying to the turn the article into some sort of shop window - I suspect that is frowned upon.
I take the point that the long "history" section is probably not all that edifying and can see it might take a long and circuitous route to link to EDINA through a trawl of its dim and distant past. I'll try to edit it down and make it shorter and more informative.
Thanks for the comments so far.
