A small independent publisher founded in 1978, which publishes children’s books in Spanish. One of the first children's book publishers in Latin America, creating pioneering models now implemented by others in the region. Specializes in picture books and illustrated books. 70% percent of the catalog compromises original works and the remaining are translations from other languages. Main office located in Caracas, Venezuela with branches in Santiago, Chile and Barcelona, Spain. Ekare was created from the experience of working in libraries at the Banco del Libro.
