Egay Echavez (born February 25, 1979 in Ozamiz City) is a Filipino professional basketball player currently playing with the Barangay Ginebra Kings. He is one of the reserve player for the kings. he is role player and known as a pesky defender.
Echavez will be called upon when coach Jong Uichico needs a speedster on the floor, or one who can pester opposing point guards. Hustle is the name of his game.
