I've heard a source quote Daily Variety of 24 Feb 1999 saying it was 1947, not 1946, in the Negro National League. Who's right? Trekphiler 08:44, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

• The article by Gerlach cited in the references section indicates that Klep pitched in 1946. This is a peer-reviewed article that I consider to be well researched and accurate. I feel pretty confident trusting the date of May 29, 1946, mentioned in Gerlach's article. (Cougs2000 16:35, 3 January 2007 (UTC))
