William Edward "Eddie" Royal (born May 21, 1986 in Alexandria, Virginia) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Royal attended Paul VI Catholic High School and South Lakes High School, and then ended up at Westfield High School in Fairfax County, Virginia, where he played most of his high school football career.

Royal played college football at Virginia Tech, where he finished his career as the Atlantic Coast Conference's all-time leader in punt return yards, and fourth in career receptions at Virginia Tech.

Royal was drafted in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos.[1]

Royal is the younger brother of Georgia Force Wide receiver/Defensive back, Chris Royal.
