[edit] NPOV

This article had some NPOV problems, which I've tried to fix. The paragraph beginning "Royce has consistently earned honors and awards..." was a copyvio, cut and pasted from Royce's web site at http://www.royce.house.gov/Biography/bio.htm . I've rewritten it to make it more NPOV.--76.81.180.3 16:43, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

I noticed that the copyvio/POV cut and paste was done by WP user Marie-Therese. That's Royce's wife's name, and the Marie-Therese account has never been used to do any edits except to the Ed Royce article.--76.81.180.3 19:11, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] sourcewatch.org

User M stone recently went through three articles and removed citations to sourcewatch.org, calling them spam. I don't know what this is all about. Sourcewatch is simply a citizens' watchdog site that tracks political contributions. I've reverted the edit to this article.--76.81.180.3 22:21, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Please see Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. It clearly states that "Articles and posts on Wikipedia or other open wikis should never be used as third-party sources." When such references are added by anonymous editors it appears that they are being added simply to promote Congresspedia and thus are spam. M stone 02:06, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
