Edward Stevens is a fictional character in the television series Ed that formerly aired on NBC. He is a bowling-alley lawyer ("I am a lawyer who owns a bowling alley, two separate things.") from Stuckeyville. He is smart, good looking, and has an excellent sense of humor. His love interest is Carol Vessey, a teacher from the local high school. The character is played by Tom Cavanagh.
