why does CYP redirect to economy of cyprus?

I don't know, but I don't know what else to do with the page CYP. I usually like making disambiguation pages for three-letter acronyms, but in this case I tried a Google search and didn't get enough meanings that I understood. Isomorphic 05:48, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
