The economy of Myanmar should be restored as soon as possible on the grounds of humanitarian porposes. Capitalist should return, and let the people be esrabished once more. Pls save myanmar from buncrupcy and militarianity.

out of curiosity, why is this article less detailed than the one on the Myanmar page? It makes no sense.. the economy page should go into MORE detail and should probably reference some of those economic papers cited in the main page.

I agree that this page should be more detailed than the "Economy" section of the main Myanmar page. Consequently, I included on this page all the material from the "Economy" section of the main Myanmar page. I also added to both pages sections on humanitarian aid and recent economic protests.SimonBillenness 06:19, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Lack of Footnotes

My edit have included footnotes. However I don't see them at the end of the article. Why? Can anyone fix that?SimonBillenness
