The data in the "Overview" section is from 10 years ago and that whole section should probably be deleted or at least updated to reflect the current economic situation in the political context in Bulgaria --cassini83 16:41, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

This page really needs fresher reports on the economic situation. An analysis of Bulgaria's economy dependence on the European economy is really necessary. I guess we could move the economic history of 1989-1997 in a new article and only leave a summary of the reforms here. It is even time to write a historical-type article about the IMF's work in the country, as it is soon going to be only a thing from the past. Anyway, I guess I should find some time to do this. If there is here, however, an economics student from a Bulgarian university, I would appreciate highly if (s)he contacts me on my talk page. --Cryout 01:19, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bulgarian property market
I believe that this article should mention bulgarias booming property market.
I know a few people that have sold everything they own in the uk and have moved the whole family out to bulgaria due to the cheap property.I intend to leave the uk also within a year for bulgaria.
