Talk:Ecological sanitation

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've marked this article for cleanup because it doesn't read like an encyclopedia article. If you are the author of this article please look at other articles to see the expected Wikipedia format. You might also look at Wikipedia:Manual of style. DJ Clayworth 15:37, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Housekeeping/Cleanup

I just did a lot of housekeeping on this article, which mostly involved removing duplicate information from the general article on sanitation and organizing what was left in a way that resembled encyclopedic article. I paraphrased and cited material that I found to be directly copied from the UN source. I removed some links that I thought were only loosely related; if other editors disagree about their removal they are welcome to re-add them with explanation.

More information is definitely needed on the methods employed in EcoSan; I had a hard time finding concise and useful information on this topic. I'm not knowledgeable in this area, but may try to do research and expand it some if nobody else takes care of it. It seems that without the addition of information about the processing methods this article is not very useful at all.
