Talk:Eclipse Island (Western Australia)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Longitude: 117.88 33 E"
- Is that possible? -- 129.125.104.116
- I looked on Mapquest and there is not an island at the coordinates, in either decimal or degree, minute, second form. However, the information from that area is not complete and it could not be zoomed to the third highest level or above. The other possibilities are that the island may not be big enough to be on the map or that the coordinates were off a bit and it was actually one of the unnamed islands on the map (the location is near Albany). -- Kjkolb 11:53, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

- The correct longitude is about 117° 53.2' E [1], but the island seems to be missing from a lot of online sources. You can see the outline of it on Google Earth if you zoom out to about 160km, but if you zoom in closer there's nothing shown but ocean. -- Purple Wyrm (talk) 11:49, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
