[edit] Ivy Championship
A recent edit added the statement "The Ivy school that is the highest finisher in the ECAC is also crowned the Ivy League ice hockey champion." My understanding is that the Ivy championship is based only on regular season intra-Ivy games, rather than including games with other ECAC members. While the original statement could be read in a way which agrees with my understanding, I think it's ambiguous, and so some clarification is in order. Kime1R 23:58, 16 August 2005 (UTC)
- I think you're right, my edit was ambiguous. The official Ivy League standings from this year prove your point. I'll change it to be more clear; thanks for the good catch. Friejose 13:30, 17 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Logos
There is a discussion to clarify our policy/guideline on the use of sports team logos. Please see Wikipedia_talk:Logos#Clarification_on_use_of_sports_team_logos if you wish to participate in the discussion. Johntex\talk 16:48, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Division II/III
- Why is there no discussion of the other two divisions? Unless things have changed, the college I played for was ECAC Division II (one of the few D-2 teams in the country) and played in the D-3 ECAC Northeast. Stoneice02 04:10, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:ECACHLlogo.gif
Image:ECACHLlogo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:10, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Expansion in the ECAC Hockey?
Do you think that Pittsbugh University and/or Penn State University could play hockey sometime in the future,be in the ECAC Hockey or Atlantic Hockey. My prediction is they would probably be in the ECAC Hockey if they play User:panicpack121 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.126.35.24 (talk) 01:36, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
