[edit] Image:Lilacs.jpg
Hi Ebear - your pic Image:Lilacs.jpg is a Ceanothus ("California-lilac"), not a true Lilac; I've moved it to the Ceanothus page - MPF 19:33, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- As I have previously noted on the image's own page, it is NOT a Ceanothus; it is in fact a true lilac; the determination above was made on the basis of it not being possible to be a true lilac in bloom at the time the picture was taken. The weather that year was bizarre, and nothing behaved as it "should". It was not possible for me to get closeups of the leaves in the winter when the above assertion was made, but since then I have proved my point. ;Bear 19:08, 2005 Jun 15 (UTC)
[edit] Vfd for Fiona Avery
I'd added the link here so it will appear on voting list. Thansk for helping to keep Wikipedia clean. Pavel Vozenilek 29 June 2005 00:10 (UTC)
[edit] Proposed deletion for Malawati
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Malawati, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Malawati. If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. — Indon (reply) —
- I didn't recall either ;-). Sorry for 3 tildes. Maybe it's because of bad copy paste from the template. — Indon (reply) — 23:19, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of List of fictional diseases
A tag has been placed on List of fictional diseases, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per speedy deletion criterion G1.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:{{{1}}}|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.Voxpuppet (talk • contribs) 00:02, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
