[edit] Album name

The correct story of the origin of the name can be found on the offical Allman Brothers band site, under "FAQ/Biography". Noel 01:02, 23 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Additionally, This page on Snopes indicates that the T.S. Eliot story is not correct, or at least does not confirm any link between Duane's quip and the Eliot poem. I've deleted this claim; if you have any documentation beyond the official website's etymology please cite. Jgm 21:26, 19 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Allman fans in my experience do not "emphatically deny" that Duane Allman was referencing Eliot's poem. It is unknowable if he intended this reference. I vaguely recall a Rolling Stone interview from the late 1990s in which Butch Trucks suggested Allman may have had the poem in mind, but even that is an interpretation. I've moderated the text to "fans sometimes speculate" accordingly. Wasted Time R 23:57, 7 January 2006 (UTC)

I want to know how this album was made. How were the tracks laid out on this double album and where did the second album begin? Somebody give me an answer.

I too would like to know which songs were on which sides of the original album. All I know for sure is that 'Mountain Jam' had to be split onto separate sides. Also, anyone know on which tracks Duane appears? Alcuin 04:04, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
Both points now addressed in article. Wasted Time R 10:55, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Eat-a-Peach-Inside-Cover102.jpg

Image:Eat-a-Peach-Inside-Cover102.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:43, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
