Eaton is the Shire of Dardanup a suburb north of Bunbury (six kilometres) and about 180 kilometres south of Perth.

Eaton has 2 Primary schools (Eaton Primary School and Glenn Huon Primary School) and 1 High School (Eaton Community College).

Eaton also has a shopping centre called Eaton Fair which has 22 stores including A Woolworth. There have been plans to extend the shopping centre to having 37 stores including a new discount department store (possibly Big W, Target or K-Mart).
