[edit] Proposed deletion

As the creator of this article stub, I'm surprised at the haste by which its deletion was proposed (3 minutes after its creation). Its hasty deletion is even more surprising. In other areas, it's not uncommon for a stub to be created in the expectation that interested and knowledgeable authors would contribute and expand it. Hasty deletion almost seems like an attempt to pre-empt such contributions. I'm no medic, but as a former London resident, the Eastman was known to me, as were other specialist hospitals, by their reputation and occasional news items. To deny the Eastman's "notability" seems, to me, to be perverse. Folks at 137 (talk) 22:36, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
