[edit] Up to date

A more recent publication about the whiting fishery in QLD can be found here. It's kind of interesting that this species is just a by-product in a S. robusta fishery. --Peta 23:21, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

I get the picture that S. flindersi was originally the main catch of the fishery, before large amounts of S. robusta were found and the fishery switched to them as the main target. Older reports tend to show S. flindersi as a large fishery, not the bycatch that they are now. Kare Kare 01:43, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
