From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

- no, we should not mix articles and facts that do not belong together. This article is about the DFV team, which represented the GDR from 1952 to 1990. The olympic titles won by this team should not be mixed into the DFB team's records, as the titles won by the DFB team should not be mixed into the DFV team's records.--BSI 23:36, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Article location
"Foo national football team" is the convention, with "national" meaning "country" and nothing more, certainly not a statement about whether or not said country was a nation. Note that on both Category:Former national football teams and Category:European national football teams the teams articles are all in that form; the only exception being Saarland football team, moved at the same time and by the same user. I'm restoring this in line with the conventional names for teams. Timrollpickering 14:09, 26 August 2007 (UTC)
